The result is a beautifully designed sneaker with the frightening face of the Joker placed on the side.
The tongues feature Sweatshop Clothing’s new logo on the tag including a classy cursive logo on the right shoe. As my eye looked down the tongues, I noticed the patchwork of purple, yellow and black that meet up with the toes. This patchwork was hand sewn by the designer to replicate the colorful socks worn by the Joker.
The exterior sides of the Joker 4.0 Converse Shoes feature images of the villain taking out the joker card to send a message to his targets. Sweatshop Clothing blew up the joker card image and replicated it several times on the interior sides of these shoes. The care that went into hand sewing the Joker 4.0 All Stars is impressive in its own right but the detail work on these sneakers is amazing. After looking at the designer’s laser-like focus on small details like the image on the joker card, I feel confident in saying that Sweatshop Clothing trumped the Joker 3.0.

The designer decided to let the colors talk instead of plastering excessive design elements on a nice pair of sneakers. The result is the BluStream Nike Air Max, which was unveiled to the public at the NuBux Customsnkr.com blog linked airnk.com.
NuBux mixed the colors well when customizing these sneakers, opting for an unusual combination of hues rather than an old standby. The light blue of the Nike swoosh and the first eyelet pops off the BluStream Nike Air Max shoe. While the brief flash of yellow at the top eyelet may seem out of place, it is yet another accent in a custom that thrives on small touches.
The underlying color throughout the Nike Air Max BluStream is gray though NuBux got creative with his base color. We see a progression from blue to dark gray and finally light gray as the eye moves up from the midsole. With the exception of a pair of pink pupils emerging from the black panel, JBF left the back half of the Kaboom Shoes! Dunks clean. The designer focused his attention on the eyelets and toes, setting off some artistic explosions around the white toe box.
JBF used jagged black lines to create the shock waves surrounding pink/white flash points. Instead of setting off a few simple explosions, JBF overlapped the shock waves to simulate all-out war. Also keep in mind that Tauren gain a bonus of fifteen to Herbalism which gives them an advantage from the start as they begin with a skill level of sixteen instead of one. While other designers have used Kanye West’s Graduation as a muse, D@ Prince got creative in trying to separate his kicks from the pack. These photos were found at the designer’s latest Nike Talk post linked airnk.com.
D@ Prince used a pink backdrop similar to the color used in the album font rather than resorting to the evening sky backdrop on the album. On the right heel, the designer painted the soaring graduation bear from the album cover. D@ Prince added his own touch to the Graduation theme by creating a bear on the left heel clad in pink camo cap and gown.
The Graduation Bear Blazers Shoes will evolve into a second version to be posted in the near future. D@ Prince’s liberal use of pink was moderated a bit by the clouds in the backdrop and the camo stripes on the graduating bear. I enjoy the Graduation Bear Blazers and can’t wait to see what D@ Prince does in the second version.

Let’s look at the Nike Terminator Hi Hybrid Shoes, with the green colorway. The toe box and midsection are in green mesh. The mudguard, shoe lace panel, heel and outsole are in dark olive green. The purple shoe lace is a striking contrast to the shoe. The Nike swoosh is in blue and stands out by itself. The collar of the Hi shoe is lined with a thin border of red. The back of the heel is red colored leather. The midsole is white to take a breather and relax from all the green. The lower half of the outsole returns to being shocking in a purple color.
The other new colorway is blue, with a surrounding frame of black. The Nike Terminator Hi Hybrid Shoes lace and Nike swoosh match with the same color of light blue. The contrasting accent is orange, which is used in the outline strips for the collar of the ankle.
These two Nike Terminator Hi Hybrid Shoes use good combinations of colors. I like the green colorway better.

The toe box and midsection have regular perforations. The mudguard around the toe box is made of exotic leather. The color of this leather is between brown and grey and blends in well.
The Nike Air Trainer III LE shoes lace panel has yellow accents in the Nike labelling at the start and end of the shoe lace region. The grey colored shoe lace is good as it coordinates with the color scheme. The midsection and heel are covered by the black colored frame. The reinforcing structure is also used in the midsole, toe’s outsole and heel’s outsole. The midsole has splashes of black and yellow on the grey background. A translucent yellow window allows a little peek into the air cushion of the Nike Air Trainer III LE sole.
The inner lining is black and blends with the collar at the ankle. The heel is in solid grey leather. The outsole is designed to show a set of yellow windows on the black frames. The yellow logo of Nike speaks of great pride in the design of the Nike Air Trainer III LE Shoes.

By looking at the photos below and at Hypethetic’s Customsnkr.com blog linked airnk, you would never know that this great design came from such humble beginnings.
These Pro Models were converted into a celebration of Adidas advertisements throughout the years. Hypethetic integrated the images of 60th Adidas models and fans into the shoe including a remarkable melding of the blue tri-stripes with ad images. Since Adidas has spent 60 years building its image, it is appropriate that Hypethetic focused on advertising in celebrating the company’s achievements.
My favorite part of the Stars and Stripes Pro Models is the stitched “60 Years” featured on the tongue. Hypethetic stitched “60 Years” but let the blue background step forward in the shape of the Adidas logo inside of the zero. I am sure that these customs were a hit considering Hypethetic’s design skills as well as the Adidas 60 Years of Stars and Stripes shoes’s appropriate theme for the event.

Sideview Customs customized a pair of Nike Dunks with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme for a client recently. The designer highlighted the TMNT Nike Dunks at the Nike Talk post linked. Rather than using the four members of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sideview went a different route that proved to be a smart decision in hindsight.
The TMNT Nike Dunks use the orange-clad Michelangelo for inspiration. Every fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles knows that Michelangelo was the goof ball who was keeping the crew laughing between missions. Sideview painted eyes on the Nike swoosh to look like Michelangelo after cracking a bad joke. The sole and heel are painted orange to match the headband worn by the turtle/comedian.
Sideview went beyond the orange headband to design custom Dunks that a fan of the Turtles would love. On the heel, the designer added TMNT in green lettering to let the uninitiated know what these shoes represent. The turtle shell design on the toe shows that Sideview Customs can get the job done even when it comes to heroes in a half shell.

The designer’s detailed representations of the Friday the 13th villain have been popular among MAS readers since I posted the Jason Dunks 2.0 in December. On the outside of the left shoe, Mizzee depicts Jason Voorhees slicing and dicing a teenager. The designer did a great job depicting the gory details of the act including blood spatter on Jason’s mask and gloves. The right Nike Dunks Shoes exterior features “Friday the 13th” in red with a nice fading effect as your eye moves to the midsole.
Mizzee used haunting images on the interiors of both shoes to create a sense of fear for the viewer. The premise of the Jason Dunks 4.0 is that Jason Voorhees is chasing after a teenage girl in the forest. We see the potential victim of Jason’s murderous rage hiding behind some foliage on the outside right shoe and inside left shoe. When we take a look at the interior of the right shoe, we see Jason emerging from the darkness to strike his prey. The outside of the left Jason Nike Dunks Shoes was painted to say “Friday the 13th” to honor the classic horror flick.

The ACG Shoes starts with a white toe box that is perforated. The black mudguard surrounds the perimeter of the sneaker. The shoe lace holes are on grey panels. This year was no exception as little Nate Robinson took on Dwight Howard in the finals in a David vs Goliath type of matchup.Anyone could not think that Nate Robinson will wear Nike Foamposite Lite shoes in the slam dunk.

Sneaker Vixen used a women’s size 8 Sellwood to pay homage to the incoming president. I found these photos on the Sneaker Vixen Facebook page linked airnk.com.
On the right toe box, the designer painted a portrait of the new president framed by “Barack Obama”(designed Barack Obama Shoes) and “44th” in black letters. The left toe box features the ubiquitous Obama campaign logo along with the date for Inauguration Day. As we move back from the toe box to the middle panel, we see the red, white and blue of the American flag displayed in creative fashion.
Sneaker Vixen used the heel for the most inspired bit of design on the Barack Obama Sellwoods. Employing the same black/off-white colorway from the toe box, the designer wrote out words like “Hope” and “Change” that represented Obama’s campaign promises. 3. Fishing in the Barrens

The colorway is purple candy with a smooth, wet finish. There is a special effect with dripping purple paint flowing down to the white midsole. It looks so cool. The seams of the shoe are done in silver and are the accents of the Nike Vandal shoes. The Nike swoosh is made of a material that looks like chrome.
The Nike Vandal shoe lace is purple in keeping with the purple color of the shoe. The nike shoe strap around the collar of the ankle is purple with a central white strap. This has a sky blue tag with the traditional Nike logo. The collar at the ankle is decorated with a light blue rim Air Nike Vandal shoes. We see the blue repeated on the back tab, with prominent “Nike” lettering in white. The royal candy purple has been reserved for the upper. The outsole uses light blue.

Using the the Jazz Air Jordan 1 Low Phat colors, these sneakers will be available in both road and home colorways. The road version pictured above features a Black suede upper with Vivid Blue, Court Purple and White accents. The home edition is similar but uses white pebbled leather as its base color. Though I’m partial to black Air Jordan 1 Low Phat shoes, both pairs are solid choices.
The combination of the purple midsole with blue outsole finishes off these shoes in style. These sneakers will be priced at $95.
HighRoad Dunk Lows

While the designer used new materials on his latest Dunks Shoes, we can still see some of the signature elements of a JBF Customs shoe. I found these photos at JBF’s Nike Talk post linked airnk.com.
JBF stitched some gray fabric around the toe and middle panel using red and blue thread. On the middle panel, the designer resorted to colorful abstract images that he has used in previous HighRoad Dunk Lows. The swirls of blue, red and green play off the white Nike swoosh and the gray fabric to create a dynamic piece of sneaker art.
I am always impressed by JBF’s ability to turn basic shapes and colors into fantastic customs. For this special game, Nike Basketball collaborated with LeBron to design the Air Nike Zoom LeBron VI. The colors were chosen to match his All Star jersey. The toe cap has a fading blue theme to represent Phoenix, which is hosting the special game. The NBA All Star Game is on Sunday, February 15. LeBron James will be wearing this pair of Nike Zoom LeBron VI shoes. The game will be very exciting. The performance of this sneaker will be judged too.

JBF’s client asked for a pair of custom Dunks with bright colors to emulate loosely the designer’s Misguided Dunks. The Misguided Dunks featured a red/blue design with crazy arrows pointing every which way on the middle panel. On the Lost in the Nike Clouds Dunks, JBF followed this pattern a bit but went off in another direction by the time these customs were finished. The middle panel features a series of arrows in addition to puffy white Nike clouds set against a deep blue sky. The top of the heel is white and the bottom is black to break up the red/blue colorway. While JBF was not happy with the hint of green coming off the collar, the Lost in the Nike Clouds Dunks Shoes look better than the Misguided Dunks. Caroline is the name of a movie. The plot has a woman named Caroline who was supposedly killed in a plane crash. After 15 years, Caroline made her way back to her family. Caroline then asked for her rightful inheritance. The family did not know how to react because they had believed Caroline was killed in a plane crash.
The Nike Caroline Dunk Hi shoes has a beige colored toe box, back tab and Nike swoosh. The large button in the middle of the shoe lacing is decorative. The Nike Air Duncan Low Premium takes inspiration from the 1985 movie, “Teen Wolf” starring Michael J. Fox. Based on the title character and his Beacon Town highschool basketball team uniforms, these Nike Dunk Low Premium feature a yellow and obsidian color scheme with a black toebox. The brown fur around the ankle, on the tongue and on the lining, of course represent the wolf. The designer decided to go all out with a Air Force Ones SpongeBob SquarePants theme that is difficult to match in quality and craftsmanship. Each Air Force Ones SquarePants shoe is designed to replicate SpongeBob from head to Air SquarePants shoes starting with the toe box. We see SpongeBob’s goofy face smiling at us from the toes, eyes wide in anticipation of a funny joke or prank. As you look back toward the middle panel, you see how Ripp goes from SpongeBob’s yellow torso to his signature brown pants with ease.
The heel is painted brown for his pants and the tag is black like his leather Air SquarePants shoes. Ripp added strips of reddish orange on the eyelets to simulate SpongeBob’s tie. I have written about SpongeBob customs in the past but Ripp has taken this lovable character to a new level.

The Dunk Hi SB Glen Quagmire is made of blue and red suede. The toe box is in blue suede. The mudguard defines the toe box and emphasizes the area. The tongue is made of blue fabric and is topped with a red colored rim. The ankle of the collar is lined in purple. The collar and back tab are in a continuous piece of blue suede. The Nike Air swoosh is in blue suede and moves down from the heel.
The midsection of the Dunk Hi SB Glen Quagmire is made of red suede. Yellow colored embroidered stars adorn the red suede. They look very nice and can be mistaken for flowers since they are 5 pointers. The embroidery also makes them look unique and handmade. The midsole is white with a single line. The midsole was left white and plain to avoid distraction. The Glen Quagmire Dunk Hi SB upper has been elaborately done and deserves to be the center of attraction. The sole is a gum sole.

The weapons vendor there sells the Feral Blade, but only one or two at a time.All of the vendors selling limited items will replenish their stock from time to time, but that time may vary from a few minutes, to hours, to months in the case of a certain vendor in Moonglade who sells a certain dress (this is a vanity item, it has no combat value.) The dress only appears once every couple of months.
Many, if not most, of these limited wow items are hard to get items, like the First Aid book, will sell for much more on the Auction House than it costs to buy them from the vendor. Sometimes a whole lot more. Do you see some possibilities here?There are a couple of groups of players who are your target market:. The one group probably doesn’t know where to find the item (and doesn’t necessarily care,) such as that book, so will buy it off the Auction House. Even though they could save two or four gold by buying it from the vendor.
The next group feels their time is worth more than a few wow cash, so they buy items off the Auction House instead of spending the time to go wherever to get an item. These people might decide to powerlevel their First Aid skill, so they buy a few large piles of cloth and buy the books off the Auction House. They save hours by not having to travel to buy and/or farm the necessary items.Then they go to the trainer and raise their skill by 200 points in one sitting. They don’t want to waste their time going here and going there to get their book(s) so they blow a few more gold and get it all done now.
The same is true for any other limited item. There’s the group that knows it’s available from a vendor, but doesn’t want to spend the time camping that vendor hoping that the item appears. So they buy off the AH. The other group doesn’t know about the vendors, but might not care anyway.Now your job is this - every time you pass by any vendor in the game you’re going to check their inventory for limited items. You’ll want to check those vendors several times just in case you missed the item the first time around. Also, you’re going to check for items that only appear at that vendor, such as the First Aid book. Then check the Auction House and learn what these items sell for and what the competition might be. You’ll be pleasantly surprised in many cases.
Make notes of the profitable items as you find them and build up your own list of these items, then you can make the rounds from time to time and gather up your stock to sell.The first time you buy something for 40 silver and sell it for 10 gold you’ll be convinced. For example, the dress mentioned above has been known to sell for ten times its buy price of 50 gold. Think a 450 gold profit would help your wow cash flow?

The leather mudguard is black but a dark shade of black. The white Air Flight Lite High shoe lace is a big contrast and looks good. The midsection is framed in leathers. The center portion has perforations. The white Nike swoosh is tightly embraced by the black leather frames.

The Cool Grey Bursts like the Breds are part of a Jordan XI Inspired Quickstrike Pack soon to be released. They are composed of sturdy yet breathable materials like the grey mesh upper. They wouldn’t look like XIs if they didn’t have the patent leather mudguard. They even added a transulcent grey sole that rests under an all white midsole to help get the theme across. Although still staying true to its running roots the Bred Hurrache Light Bursts still include the visible air unit which in this case is grey. Look for these soon at select Nike accounts.
Now available at Nike.com, these Nike Dunk Low Supreme features a color scheme of neutral grey and white. However it’s the embossed leather on the toebox and the side panel that really stands out.
The inspiration behind these Nike Dunk Low Supreme Shoes isn’t evident but the colorway is simple and cool. 02.02.09 (8:01 pm) [edit]Mizzee Customs used Kanye West’s album Nike 808s and Heartbreak Shoes as the muse for these custom Nike Blazers. West’s 2008 album featured a melting red heart on a gray background as well as a multi-color pattern on the spine and back cover. You can find more about the 808s and Heartbreak Nike Blazers at the Mizzee Customs MySpace page linked airnk.com .
Mizzee replicated all of the elements from the album’s cover with a few twists. The red heart is recreated on the tongue and the colored checks can be seen just above the midsole. The designer’s custom Blazers come to life, however, when you turn out the lights.
In the last photo in this post, you can see the Nike 808s and Heartbreak Blazers glowing in the dark. Mizzee Customs added an invisible heart along the sides of both Nike 808s that emerge when the lights go down. The designer also added a glow-in-the-dark 808s “Welcome to Heartbreak” on the heels to honor the anger and sadness that went into making this album. Having enough FFXI Gil is the most essential aspects of the game. Gil the major currency used when purchasing or trading items. To be a good player you will need all the Gils you can get. No matter how great your game skills are you will need the Gils to get your equipments, armors, weapons and other items. Having the gears early in the game will help you advance to higher levels at a faster pace than others can. Here are some good tips to start your career in Final Fantasy XI.
Warp Quest
This method can get you about 10k gil within an hour. You need to start with 1k to purchase a slime oil. After you’ve purchased the slime oil, bring it to an NPC named “Unlucky Rat” in the Metal district of Bastok in exchange for a warp scroll. The scroll sells for about a good 7-10K. Seems easy? Well slight problem with this method is that you will need to have enough fame built up before the NPC will take your slime oil. You will be required to run around town doing low level missions to get your fame up. This is where it gets a little time consuming but 10k gil an hour for a lowbie is really good. You can also redo this quest by creating a mule account and transferring 1k gil to that character.
Just Badge Quest
The Justice Badge quest is located in Winhurt and will require 1 rabab tail and 4 onions to complete. you can buy the stack of rabab tail in the auction house for 50-100gil. Easy to do at low level. In the docks of Winhurst you will find an NPC that you can give the rabab tail to. He will give you the Justice Badge which sells for 500-2000 gil in the auction house. After receiving the bad, give him 4 wild ionions and you’ll receive a scroll that sells up to 5000 Final Fantasy XI gil. You can repeat this quest by using a mule.
Fire Crystals
A stack of first crystals can sell for 2000 gil easily over at the auction house. There are 2 good methods to collect fire crystals. The more commonly used method would be the usual beat the mob down and loot method. To start you need to be around level 7-10. You will need signet cast on you at your town gates. Head out North to Gusterburg where you will be able to find many vultures. You’ll only want to kill the vultures and nothing else to conserve time. To the Northwest of San D’oria there is an area full of Orcs. The orcs drop a nice amount of fire crystals as well. You can probably average about 3 stacks in an hour. 6000 gil in an hour for a level 7-10 is not too bad.
The other method of farming fire crystals is by gardening. You start by buying a brass flower pot in the auction house, several vegetable seeds and some water crystals. You then plant the flower plot in your Mog house and put in the vegetable seeds. Feed it some water crystals, after 1-3 days you will have 17 fire crystals come out of it. You can have up to 6-8 flower pots per house, you can easily make 20-30,000 gils every 2-3 days. It only takes a few minutes to purchase the accessories and to plant them. It’s a wealthy short term investment. Money growing on trees is the way I think of it.

The more slots a bag contains the more expensive it is to purchase. So in your early levels (5-10), you’ll probably only be able to afford a 6 slot bag for a few silver coin. You’ll find vendors selling 6 slot bags in many of the towns; but check out the Auction House, as you’ll likely find a few bargains from those players with the Tailoring profession. Depending on how well you make gold in wow, you may stretch to an 8 slot bag, but greater than 8 slots and you’re looking at paying in gold coin.
Now those with the Tailoring profession clearly have an advantage when it comes to their bags as they can craft all their needs and find ready buyers for their surplus in the Auction House. The first bag that Tailors learn to craft is the 6 slot Linen Bag which can be found on the Auction House for a few silver. My strategy for low level alts is to fill all my available slots with these bags as early as possible. Tailors then move on to crafting 8 slot Woolen Bags or various colors, which are little more expensive, but should still be in your price range.
Now, if you’re your purse does not contain the necessary coin to purchase a bag at this level, and you are not a Tailor, you are left with acquiring additional bags through drops and quests. Quite a few mobs drop 8 slot Leather Bags, but the frequency is not great; you’ll have more chance with those quests which reward you with a bag. In general, the greater the number of slots a bag has as a reward, the greater the difficulty of quest, and the higher the level you’ll need to be.
For a 6 slot bag, try the quest ‘Miner’s Fortune’ from the Wharf Master at Rachet, who rewards ‘Old Moneybag’, a 6 slot bag. For an 8 slot bag, try the quest ‘Captain Sander’s Booty Bag’ which is only available for Alliance characters at Westfall as part of a series of quests ‘Captain Sander’s Hidden Treasure’.
Alternatively, you could try asking a kind Tailor via the Trade Channel to craft you a bag - providing you supply the mats. Many Tailors will be happy to do this as they have the opportunity to advance their profession with no cost to themselves.
If you are really desperate - or just like fishing - you can try fishing in the canals and pools of the major cities. Drops of bags can be obtained this way, but you’ll need the patience of Pat Nagel!
After 8 slot bags, Tailors can learn to craft a 10 slot Silk Pack from acquiring a pattern drop; but, you’ll more likely find 12 slot Mageweave Bags for sale in the Auction House for several gold coins.
For those of limited coin, or who have yet to learn how to make cheap wow gold, try the quest ‘Digging Through the Ooze’, Wetlands. The reward is 10 slot Ooze-covered Bag. For a 12 slot bag, a ‘Sturdy Lunchbox’ can sometimes be had from drops from mobs of Venture Co. Foreman, Stranglethorn Vale. Alternatively, try grinding Swirling Vortex, Thousand Needles, which can occasionally drop a 12 slot Large Knapsack.
As your wow gold farming progresses, and you move up the levels, you’ll need to look to equipping 14-16 slot bags. For 14 slot bags, your options are limited. You either have to resort to the Auction House where tailors will be selling 14 slot Runecloth Bags or try for a drop of a Troll-hide Bag or Journeyman’s Backpack; however, these are not very frequent and the mobs are often Elite. For those with a few more wow gold to spare, you’re better off with buying either the 16 slot Mooncloth Bag’ or a 16 slot Netherweave Bag. For those with the Tailoring profession of 300+ skill, the crafting of these bags is a good example of how to make easy wow gold, as the bags are always in demand - at least on my server.

Color Bar Superstars Of Adidas

The theme of the Color Bar Superstars is the colorful stripes that appear on a TV at the end of a broadcast day. KP started out with gray as the backdrop on the back half to let the colors stand out. A TV camera and old television set are depicted against the gray background on the outside of the right shoe. KP switched it up by placing a set of headphones with the name McG on the inside of the left shoe. KP also played around with a microphone and a mix tape on the remaining spaces.
The most notable features of the Color Bar Superstars are the wild colors used on the Color Bar Superstars Adidas stripes and laces. KP switched out the bland tri-stripe with yellow, green and red stripes. The spaces between these stripes are filled with red and sky blue, the latter color matching the eyelets. The designer topped these Color Bar Adidas Superstars customs off with some multi-color laces to match the tri-stripe colors.

These simple customs do not feature detailed comics, bright colors or any other fine details that have become his signature moves. As you can see at the KickerBockerGlory website linked here, the Allsorts AF1s are just as charming as the rest of the designer's catalog.
KickerBockerGlory painted the heel stripe and Nike swoosh black with a matching set of laces to boot. He proceeded to paint the middle panel, toe box and eyelets orange, the most brazen of the colors used by the designer. The Force Ones Allsorts feature a toe and back panel with a simple gray color that offsets the orange paint.
The designer priced the Air Force Ones Allsorts at about $145 USD (100 pounds) with free shipping within the UK. The Allsorts on display at the KickerBockerGlory website come in size 10 UK though he can replicate this design for interested consumers. I am a big fan of KickerBockerGlory’s work even when he decides to take a subtler approach to his sneaker art like the Air Force Ones Allsorts.
